About Linnea

Linnea moved to Mars Hill in 2008 from Vermont and has lived up and down the east coast and Midwest. Her insurance experience began in Hartford, CT working as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative for Travelers.

She is a UNC Asheville alum, graduating with an International Studies degree in 2015. She also worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students and Assoc. Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at UNCA. She loved working with the students and being a part of their learning experiences.

Her love of nature and great food are what brought her to Asheville! She enjoys hiking, foraging for mushrooms with her cat Lilla, and eating delicious meals downtown. Making jewelry and jamming out to the Grateful Dead are her two favorite hobbies.
