Positions available at Trout Insurance

​We are looking for two “ Sales Support Staff “  positions for our upcoming health insurance enrollment season: 
​August thru December 2023 
  1. "Intern"  -   Perfect position for college or senior in high school who's looking to gain experience working in a professional office. 
Working Conditions:
  • In-Office Position: 29 North Main Street. Weaverville, NC 28787
  • Hours: 12-20 per week. *Afternoons/After School Available.
  • Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.
  • This position could satisfy requirements for work experience. We can work to schedule the position to fulfill the needed requirements. 
       Duties Include:
  • Data Entry
  • Assistance with Social Media Marketing.
  • Generate Mailing to Clients, Referrals, and Prospects.
  • Community Outreach.
     2.  “Service Pro”  - This position would involve a great deal of customer contact. Prior experience is a plus. Perfect for retired or semi-retired professionals looking to work part-time on a seasonal basis. 
Working Conditions:
  • In-Office Position: 29 North Main Street. Weaverville, NC 28787
  • Seasonal Position: 6-Month Duration from August till January.
  • The work schedule may include weekdays and occasional weekends, depending on business needs. 
  • Compensation: $20 per hour. 
Duties Include:
  • Calling and emailing clients to address inquiries, provide assistance, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Reach out to new prospects via phone and email to introduce our insurance agency and its services.
  • Prepare and mail thank you letters to clients to express gratitude for their business.
  • Conduct fact-finding interviews with clients during the initial policy setup and renewal processes.
  • Send follow-up thank you emails to clients after completing transactions or addressing their concerns.
  • Proactively request referrals from satisfied clients to expand our customer base.
  • Ask clients to leave reviews and feedback about their experience with our agency.
