United Healthcare Medicare Supplement (MediGap) Plans
While Medicare Parts A and B (also called "Original Medicare") cover some healthcare costs, they don’t pay for everything. That's where a Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan from UnitedHealthcare may help. Medicare supplement insurance plans are also called "Medigap" and are offered by private insurers. They are made to work together with your Original Medicare coverage. The plans and what they cover are standardized by the federal government.
Plan Highlights
Fill the gaps left by Medicare Part A and Part B, deductibles, and coinsurance.
Plans are accepted by ANY doctor that takes Medicare. No network restrictions.
Plans may also include additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare: discounted gym memberships, foreign travel emergency care, dental discounts, hearing discounts, and vision discounts.
Covers your Plan B Deductible = $226.
Plan benefits travel with you across the United States.
Plan G: A Comprehensive Medicare Plan
Medicare Supplement Plans are standardized, which means benefits must be exactly the same from carrier to carrier, only the premiums may vary. Plans are named A-N, with Plan F only available to those who enrolled in Social Security and Medicare before January 1st, 2020. Plan G is a comprehensive Medicare plan and is one of the most popular supplement plan types. With an AARP membership or another type of available discount, you have the potential to save even more money on the monthly premium.
Plan G:
$0 - Doctor Visits (after $226 Annual Part B Deductible)
$0 - Inpatient Hospital Care (Days 1-90 per benefit period)
** Medicare Supplement Plans do not provide coverage for dental, hearing, or vision treatments; only some discounts for exams. For a comprehensive dental, vision, or hearing plan, please contact Trout Insurance Services.***
