Updating / Renewing Your HealthCare.Gov Account
Updating your Account at Healthcare.gov is much the same as when we created this last year. Much of the information is already filled in - so you may have to add some again.
Pay particular attention to the income section.
The question " Will your 2015 income be the same as was reported on your Tax Return in 2013 " may appear. In most cases, you may want to answer " NO " and complete your actual estimate for 2015 "
After all is completed and you have signed the application. Click " Submit "
You will then receive a new Eligbility for the Premuim Discount Tax Credit. This is the amount paid on your behalf directly to insurance company.
Download and save that document.
" Are We Done Yet ?? "
Almost - Click on " Enrollment " and continue to insurance plans.
Even if you wish to keep the same coverage - you must choose the plan again.
After you choose the plan, confirm your selection.
You may then go ahead and pay via the insurance companies website. Or they will bill you.
" What if there are ' problems ' ? "
Don't Worry - we can fix these.
Two steps to take:
1.) Call the Marketplace 800-318-2596.
2.) Tell them you would like to add me David Trout as your ' authorized representative.' I may then call and correct the application on your behalf.
That is the service you receive from me as your agent.

Go to www.healthcare.gov
Click on Log In (top right corner of your screen)
Type in your log in information
Click "Visit the Marketplace" green button
Please add David Trout as your ' Agent / Broker.' Include my NPN as 2892470 (National Producer Number - my insurance ID)
When you click the "View Eligibility" button, please send the "premium discount dollar amount" to your agent, Dave Trout [email protected]
You can then Log Out and Dave will contact you about your best Plan Options.
