New for 2016

Helping your clients make the payments process easierIndividual Pre-65Sometimes your individual plan clients need a little extra guidance, especially when it comes to payments. So we provide tools to track client payments on Producer World® to help you stay up to date. But there are some things you can do to make the process smoother. For example, encourage your clients to pay via recurring electronic funds transfer (EFT) or credit/debit card.

The quickest, most efficient payment method

New business clients, who are applying on the Exchange and making their binder payment, can select the recurring draft option, then choose the EFT or credit/debit card.

Members
can set up recurring EFT or credit/debit card payments online anytime through:
  • Aetna Navigator® for Aetna plans
  • my.aetna.com for Aetna Leap plans
  • my.innovation-health.com for Innovation Health Leap plans
  • My Online Service for CoventryOne plans.
Renewing members may need to re-establish their EFT payments if they’re renewing into a new plan:
  • For Aetna Leap and Innovation Health Leap on-Exchange members, if your clients have previously set up automatic payments for 2015, they will not remain in effect for 2016.  They must reset their automatic payments for the 2016 coverage year by going to our new website: my.aetna.com for Aetna Leap or my.innovation-health.com for Innovation Health Leap and following the instructions there.
  • For Aetna plan on-Exchange members:  If your clients have previously set up automatic payments for 2015, they will not apply to 2016. They must reset their automatic payments for the 2016 coverage year by going to the Aetna Navigator website and following the instructions there.
  • For Coventry plan on-Exchange members:  If your clients remain in their current plan, they do not need to do anything with their EFT payments. We’ll start automatically withdrawing their new monthly premium for their 2016 plan. If they decide to enroll in a different Coventry Individual plan, their EFT arrangement will carry over to the new plan as long as they use the same email address CMS has on file. If they use a different email address, they will be set up as a new member, which would require them to reset their EFT information and make a binder payment.
  • For Aetna and Coventry plan off-Exchange members:  If your clients remain in their current plan, they do not need to do anything with their EFT payments. We’ll start automatically withdrawing their new monthly premium for your 2016 plan.
