John and Mike were a pair of friends who had known each other from High school and had finally got in contact after many years. They sat down for lunch one day and spoke about their adventures during high school and all their adventures after high school. Mike had gone on to work for his dad's construction company where he did not receive a formal education but was doing very well in life, whereas John was a college graduate who had graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with two degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Throughout their lives, both being 26 now, they had started to make a fair amount of money and they had coincidentally bought new cars. They both went to a local insurance agency to find out about rates they could get on their auto insurance, and to Mike's surprise, he was receiving significantly higher rates than John was when it came to auto insurance.
Your education, or lack thereof, helps set your auto insurance rate. People with higher education get discounts on car insurance because they are said to be less likely to be involved an accident. To find out more, and what to do if you do not have a formal higher education, call a Trout Insurance agent today.
